About the Teacher

I am a ninth grade world history teacher who believes in visual and active learning. I graduated from James Madison University with a Masters in social sciences and education. All the materials that I produce cover the academic material outlined by Viginia Standards of Learning expectations.

Introduction to World History

This website gives free teaching materials for topics covered in the Ancient World History course for the ninth grade. It includes 15 units as outlined by the Virginia Standards of Learning beginning with the Origin of Man to the Renaissance.
